Lots of recording and songwriting action happening for the rest of the year with one huge session being set up in Europe later in the year. I will divulge the info once its more solidified as things like this can fall through or be put on hold due to everyone's schedules.
Lee McBee & The Confessors are working on the new CD. We are now putting the finishing touches on tunes and arrangements so we can just go into the studio and bang them out!
Steve Gerard & The National Debonaires has some big news as "Ain't Gonna Happen Again" has been nominated as SONG OF THE YEAR by Blues Blast Online Magazine!
Please vote and thanks for your help. Steve & The Boys plan on recording our 2nd CD very soon to be released again with SOUNDGATE RECORDS.
Me & my old buddy John McNally are planning for an all original CD this year also. This will be our first official recording together in 14 years since 1994's EXTRA FINE VIBE & 1991's BLUES FROM KINGS both with Don Dangerfield. This one should be alot of fun to record!
Blues Mystic Music is starting to get a good amount of songs in its bank so now its time to start arranging them and recording them.
Thanks for all your support.

For the remainder of 2008, I am heading into the studio and have plans for at least 4 albums of original music this next fiscal year. Things have been great with McBee and big plans are being made for the future aiming by Spring/Summer of 2009 with dates all over the World. High gas prices are a problem for any touring band but the interest and attention that has been presented to Lee has initiated the goal planning of hitting the road again. He is in top form and has new strong solid material to offer.
As for me and Blues Mystic Music, songs are coming out everyday and I now have 3 solid albums worth of material that as one of my 4 projects, is to record them for release. Several artists are already expressing interests in recording my material for their recording projects. Slowly but surely the wheel turns. As for who and when, that shall come at a later time as plans are being planned and made.
The plan either way is to have a label in place by the end of the year. Although Live Dates aren't any much more than BB's dates with Lee right now, making records, writing songs and setting things into place for what looks like a busy Summer/Fall for next year 2009 seems to be keeping us/myself busy with talks and planning. Europe appears to be a very hot market right now for Blues music so there is a possibility that we may be focusing attention there for next year. Stateside, Lee has been getting quite a bit of attention lately as he appears on Mike Morgan's new SEVERN RECORDS release "Stronger Every Day" on 3 tracks.

The National Debonaires CD "NEW SOUNDS FROM KANSAS CITY" has been met with great reviews. Blues Festival Magazine has listed The National Debonaires as "The Upcoming New Artist On The Rise" for 2008.
Also, Mary4Music.com has listed the CD as the "album of the year" by bestowing us with "The Blewzy Award" for 2007. We played a very successful New Years Eve Concert in Calgary, Alberta - Canada and had a great response there. The CD debuted at #16 on The Living Blues Radio Charts in October and accolades have been coming in from other magazine sources.
Lee McBee & The Confessors have a new MySpace Page with Dates, Pictures, Bios, Music and Video. Access the link above or here: Lee McBee & The Confessors MySpace Page . We are back to the Sunday night residency at BB's Lawnside BBQ again as November & December found Lee & I on the road with The Crawl and The National Debonaires and unfortunately bad weather cancelled us a few times so its good to be back home.
Mike Morgan & The Crawl (featuring) Lee McBee had a fantastic European Tour. The ground we covered in a week took us virtually over every major Country in Europe. Germany, France, Belgium & Switzerland hosted great Concerts headling the Lucerne, Switzerland & Avignon, France Blues Festivals. The word is now out worldwide that Mike & Lee have been playing together again and we're excited at what the future could potentially bring. The fanbase over seas was incredible and showed us some very excellent receptions. Take one look at a map of Europe and its easy to see how much ground we covered in a short period. Flying over Paris on a sunny day and The Swiss Alps on a typical Wintery day was rather breath taking. I shall be posting videos and photos soon.
The first show with The Crawl was in Rantigen-Lintorf, Germany at THE MANEGE and although the room was medium sized the crowd that came responded well and we played to a jam packed room of Crawl fanatics. We played 2 sets of Classic Crawl material that was well met. The second show was in Hasselt, Belgium at THE MUZIEK-O-DROOM and here is a link to my friend Wil Winjhoven's BluesBreaker Website with Jam packed pictures: Hasselt Photo Link . It was a huge room again packed with Crawl fans that were treated to another night of Crawl Classics. The third Concert was in Avignon, France headlining the Avignon Blues Fest 2007 to a fantastic Concert Hall packed with loving Blues fans. Saturday was the fourth show in Lucerne, Switzerland at THE GRAND CASINO LUZERNE and here is the link to the festival pictures: Lucerne Photo Link #1 and Lucerne Photo Link #2 . The next night on Sunday was the going away dinner were we played a set together alongside with Bob Margolin and Jumpin' Johnny Sansone for a solid set that left Koko Taylor tearing up the dance floor. We set out for home on Monday with a stop in my old stomping grounds of Washington DC just wiped out exhausted.
For me, 2008 has plans of at least 1 full blown European Tour and potentially 3 new 2008 CD's on the way. It shall be quite the year I am sure. 2007 was the best year I ever had playing music and topping it off with The Crawl was a dream come true for me. I have a feeling that 2008 is going to top last year with the various deals being discussed now. Lots going on on all fronts!
Gary Primich's passing has been very hard to deal with. We have lost a great friend and an incredible Ambassador of the Blues and I have lost a fellow Brother and endeared friend. The last couple of years found Gary & I regaining a closeness of friendship and support of each other especially when our days were the darkest, we pulled each other through some tough times. For those that knew him... don't forget the laugh as I'll bet you can hear it right now.
We sent Gary off with a great Memorial in Austin on October 28th and many of Gary's peers and virtually every long time player in Gary's Band over the years came and played. It was special to see Tina, Gary's Father, Jack and his Siblings - Tracy, John Brent and Darsha again and as unfortunate as the occasion was, it was great to see old friends and to renew ties. Gary was always surrounded by many who loved him. I miss you Sarge.
Much Love All,
Patrick

"New Sounds From Kansas City" is now available through Soundgate Records and through Pacific Blues and is showing signs to become a best seller. The addresses for purchase are Soundgate Records and Pacific Blues Recording Company . Credit Cards accepted.
Without stealing the thunder from Steve and Elmo, you can access all the information you need concerning this CD at www.nationaldebonaires.com . Both Soundgate Records and Steve & Elmo are also listed in the top friends on this MySpace page so check them out. In addition to Mike "Shinetop" Sedovic, Andy Grafitti, Steve, Elmo and me, there are appearances by Lee McBee, Jimi Bott, Doug Rynack and Mike Clark.
As for Mike Bourne -
The record we did last year "Martini Legs" with Abb Locke & Barrelhouse Chuck, that CD is now available via download only on the
Helium Records Website . Credit Cards accepted so check this title out as well. Tim Johnson (Lee McBee & The Confessors) played Drums as well on the tracks I played on. Mike has a couple tracks with his Chicago band backing him up but I play Bass on 90% of the record. Mike is also on the top friends list for this MySpace page so check him out too.
As for John Jaramillo & Orlando Zuniga with The Oprhans Of Smooth Jazz -
2 years in the making, the recording of "Mirror Of Life" has finally been released. This record is an absolute complete departure of musical style for me where I mostly play Electric Fretless Fender Bass (a first for me.) A strong mixture of Afro-Cubano rhythms, Salsa, Latino styles, Smooth Jazz grooves mixed with a strong Spiritual vibe makes the album 100% all original. Kansas City Jazz songbird Ron Gutierrez sings, Aaron Thomas plays Drums, I play Bass, Orlando Zuniga plays various Saxes, Kevin Hoover plays great trumpet, Robert Kilpatrick plays Trombone, Randy Wills Plays Organ, Jose Ramos & Gene Torres play Percussion, Steve Sepulveda plays Guitar and John Jaramillo not only plays Piano & Keyboards but also wrote ALL the songs. I play Bass on the whole recording except for "Eastside Dreamz" where John plays Synth Bass. The CD can be purchased through CD Baby as Credit Cards are accepted. The address for purchase is: Jaramillo/Zuniga "Mirror Of Life" CD Purchase info .
